The Legislative Council on River Governance Annual Meeting

The LCRG brings together legislators from Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington annually to review and discuss the issues and opportunities in the Columbia and Snake River Basin. Updates are provided on legislative action impacting the region and the progress of federal, state, tribal, and local initiatives aimed at protecting fisheries, environment and ecosystems, infrastructure, economies and people of the Columbia and Snake River Basin. Issues of study and discussion include
- Canada/US Relations, including Trade and the Columbia River Treaty Modernization
- Aquatic and Other Invasive Species threats, prevention and mitigation
- Ports, Dams, Navigation and Transport
- Agriculture and Energy
