Once-in-a-lifetime networking events provide the opportunity for participants from across states, sectors, and party lines to get to know each other and build key relationships in an informal setting that improves regional understanding and collaboration.
Sunday, November 12
Kick-off the Annual Meeting by attending the networking hour, WLA alumni reception, or the friends and family reception. Followed by a welcome dinner for all participants that will capture the spirit and flavor of California.
Monday, November 13
Have a cup of joe and catch up with colleagues at the “Capitol Connections Cafe” in between sessions during the day. Continue the conversation at a number of sponsored receptions happening from 5-6 p.m. Then make sure you’re on the bus for transportation to the evening event!
Off-site Evening Event
Join us for an evening event right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Meet some of your favorite celebrities, in wax, at Madame Tussauds Hollywood wax museum.
Tuesday, November 14
Oregon, hosts of the 2024 Annual Meeting, will be gearing up for next year and invite you to join them for a special reception. Keep connecting during sponsored receptions from 6-7 p.m. before you head out on the town for a night out to appreciate local restaurants and attractions.
Wednesday, November 15
Attendees and their guests will be blown away by a once-in-a-lifetime experience Wednesday afternoon and evening at Universal Studios. After sessions conclude, participants will receive a complimentary ticket to Universal Studios with an onsite dinner, followed by a private Back-Lot Tour. This is an event not to be missed!
