In November the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced a proposed rule to re-establish the pre-2015 definition of “waters of the United States” (WOTUS). In December, the proposed rule was published in the Federal Register. The public comment period is open until February 7.
