Colorado River Forum (CRF)
The Colorado River Forum provides a much-needed opportunity for state legislators to connect and address the pressing issues and opportunities of this region. Appointed members convene annually to examine the issues of water quantity and quality, state by state snapshots of water management tools and strategies, aquatic and other invasive species threats, engagement with tribes on priority concerns, and to develop regional approaches to collaboratively influence the rule-making that will govern the Colorado River into the future.
Membership consists of delegations from the seven U.S. Colorado river basin states, as well as two representatives from the Mexican states of Baja California and Sonora. Delegations are selected by and serve at the pleasure of their respective appointing authorities.
Upcoming Event: November 17-20, 2024, Phoenix, Arizona
