| CSG West staff completed its third capitol visit this year, travelling to Cheyenne, Wyoming on February 14-15. The visit commenced on the opening day of Wyoming’s legislative session, providing staff an opportunity to connect with House and Senate leaders, lawmakers, and legislative staff about CSG West programming and available resources. Marking the first in-person visit to Wyoming since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, staff shared information about this year’s 75th CSG West Annual Meeting, while policymakers offered insight into legislative priorities for the short session. CSG West staff concluded the visit by hosting a lunch for Western Legislative Academy alumni and interested applicants. State capitol visits are an important component of our outreach effort. We look forward to connecting with more Western policymakers and staff in the coming weeks. |
