The CSG West Nominating Committee is accepting applications from Western legislators interested in serving as officers of CSG West or CSG National. The positions will be open and the legislators elected by the Executive Committee will succeed to the positions of chair in 2026.
Pursuant to our Rules, this year the Nominating Committee will be interviewing candidates for the CSG West Vice Chair and CSG National Vice Chair roles.
The Nominating Committee will be considering:
- Republican applicants for the open 2024 CSG West vice chair position.
- The CSG National officer position is open to all Executive Committee members – irrespective of party affiliation and comes around every four years.
Applicants for both positions will be scheduled for an interview with the CSG West Nominating Committee during the 76th CSG West Annual Meeting in Universal City, California. The Nominating Committee, upon finalizing its process, will recommend a slate of 2024 CSG West and CSG National officers to the CSG West Executive Committee.
