Legislative Exchange on Homelessness in Utah: A Policy Perspective from Law Enforcement

The Westrends Board at CSG West will host a virtual Legislative Exchange on Homelessness in Utah: A Policy Perspective from Law Enforcement.

Utah Representative Tyler Clancy, also a police officer, shares how the state of Utah is reducing their homeless population and trying to avoid their entry into the criminal justice system. Legislators are encouraged to join the discussion by sharing experiences in their states as to what measures have been effective in their states and, more specifically, their jurisdictions as well as the barriers that persist.

The Exchange will be moderated by Westrends Board Co-Chair, Utah Representative Andrew Stoddard.
