Western Legislative Academy

The Western Legislative Academy (WLA) offers legislators in their first four-years of service an opportunity to gather with regional colleagues for three and a half days of intensive training designed to strengthen legislative leadership skills. Academy participants learn from academic and national experts while also developing relationships that extend well beyond the program and state borders alike.
Participation is limited to class members selected through an application and review process. Applications open at the start of each year and are available on the CSG West website.
