Shilpa Patel

Shilpa Patel provides support for The Council of State Governments West (CSG West) as lead staff to Health and Human Services and Technology and Future of Work Committee. Staff liaison to Arizona and Oregon.

Before joining CSG West in April 2021, Shilpa staffed multiple policy committees for the Academic Senate at the University of California, San Francisco. She brings her knowledge of shared governance values and an education in law to her work at CSG West in her staffing capacity. Shilpa holds a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree from the University of California Davis and is a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law.
