The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced a State Opioid Response (SOR) grant funding opportunity that will provide nearly $1.5 billion to states and territories to help address this epidemic. Along with the recently announced Tribal Opioid Response grant funding opportunity, the SOR program is part of the HHS Overdose Prevention Strategy released last October.
