Megan Bolin is the Deputy Director for the Utah Legislature’s Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel (OLRGC). OLRGC serves the Legislature by providing nonpartisan policy and legal analysis, drafting legislation, staffing legislative committees, and managing legislative data and processes. Megan has a Master’s degree in public policy from the University of Denver and began her career in city planning. In 2014, she moved to Utah and joined OLRGC as a Policy Analyst focusing on local government issues. She became part of OLRGC’s executive team in 2018 and, in her current capacity, specializes in legislative process, oversees OLRGC’s budget and administrative functions, and manages OLRGC’s team of Policy Analysts. When she’s not working, Megan enjoys spending time with her family in Utah’s beautiful outdoors.
